March photo a day: Days 5-10

I can’t believe how this week has flown by! It’s been a busy week and therefore I’ve gotten behind on posting my March photo a day challenge pictures.
Day 5} A smile~I’ve been assigned weekly art projects for the children at work and this week we learned about circles. I had fun putting together this masterpiece. Fun and cheerful little creatures.

Day 6} 5pm~This is generally who I am greeted by once I get home. “Mommy!? I’m ready for dinner!” Miss Cookie Dough

Day 7} Something you wore~Just got this Old Navy button back two tone sweater. Love the color combo and button details!

Day 8} Window~I had a girls night Thursday and met up with Lily Girl and took one of my co workers, who is new to the area, out for dinner! We had fun hanging out and playing tour guide plus I got to visit my old haunting grounds/see the debut of the new location of baby braithwaite. Looks great ladies! Those windows are bunnylicious!

Day 9} Red~I look forward to these little red envelopes. Pretty much always a surprise. Right now I have Mildred Pierce and Road to Avonlea Season 5.

Day 10} Loud~This is what I hear all day and night. Extremely loud and incredibly annoying. But gotta love him! Pumpkin

Pumpkin is telling me he is hungry and will not stop crying until he has satisfaction

What did you do this week? Any fun plans for the weekend? I’m either going to Scott Antique Market or Gibbs Gardens tomorrow. Something fun to do and take advantage of the nice weather we’re having.

February photo of the day{4&5}+Jason Wu for Target+Week in review link up

I’ve always been interested and excited about the designer collections that come to Target stores but always forget about it until weeks after they’ve arrived and pretty much sold out. I made a point not to forget this time! So…today I pulled myself out of bed early and drove down to my local Target store at 8am. Unfortunately I didn’t even think about the fact that probably not all Target stores would have the designer collections, which this one didn’t. I thought it was kind of funny that the employee we talked to didn’t even know what we were talking about. I guess they didn’t get the memo. Or watch TV. Wait you do work here right? Anyways…..we climbed back in the car and headed to another store, which I did look up and they were on the list {side note: another reason I love my iPhone, helps me look things up in an emergency! ;} After arriving at said store it was pretty quiet so I had my pick of the collection totally uninterrupted and took my sweet time.

The newest collection by designer Jason Wu featuring an adorably mischievous black cat debuted today {the cat alone had me hooked}. This navy striped poplin dress was my favorite from the commercials and website and I lucked out finding it in store. I rarely buy clothes from Target mainly because the sizes are so weird and never fit me right. Heads up: I did have to buy this dress a size up from what I normally would wear.

5}10am~Here I am in the dressing room trying on this Jason Wu dress! Tres cute!

4}A Stranger~Since I forgot to do it yesterday I took a picture today. Waiting in line at Mickey D’s after hitting up Target and before heading to church Sunday am. This dude was serious about his hash browns and pancakes. Immediately after we ordered all the people who were definitely not at Target showed up for their McMuffins and pancakes. Wowza!

After doing all of these things I decided to go ahead and check “file my taxes” off my to-do list. Whilst waiting on my paperwork to be entered I checked out one of my fav blogs Story of My Life and saw that Jenni started a link for Instagram week in reviews. This sounded so fun I had to join the link party!

The other night Stella spotted a ladybug on the wall. She was so transfixed she couldn’t look away. Look at that tail go!!

Went flower picking in the woods. I love daffodils and can’t believe they are already blooming here! I’ll post more about this later.
