Happy Easter!
Aren’t these eggs adorable!? This year I decorated the eggs with garden greenery. It’s really easy if you are patient and don’t care if they are perfect, ha ha. I picked fern, ivy, clover, and tiny oak leaves and went to town. All you need are boiled eggs, dye, small leaves or flowers, and old hosiery. Place the leaves on the eggs, wrap them tightly in the hose, then dunk. Let them soak as long as you want, the darker eggs probably sat for 30+ minutes. If they don’t turn out just tie dye them by soaking in multiple colors, they look really pretty like that too.
Decorating for Easter is such fun I love all the baby animals and pastels!
Thank you Pink Girl for all the lovely Easter goodies! Your finch eggs are so precious! I hope we can take your new baby finches in a few weeks!!!
For our Easter dinner we had pasta primavera with fresh farmers market veggies, ham, and delicious homemade strawberry cake, recipe courtesy of my mom’s college sorority little sister.
