We had company visit a few weeks ago and we went into overdrive to get the place spruced up. Decorating for the weekend put us into holiday preparatory mode and the tablescape is so lovely it would be perfect for Thanksgiving or Christmas! Had to share!
We found some delicious treats at Douceur de France in Marietta for dinner. Their Parisian Pastries are so pretty and very delicious.
Love the scarecrow on le pain.
Adorable chocolat.
Getting the table ready with our Noritake Pursuit china. These colors work with every occasion but are particularly pretty in the autumn.
Foliage from the garden fills an antique wooden tool caddy. Battery operated wax covered candles add light and mood to the dinner table.
Sometimes the simpler it is the better it looks.
Made this console into a coffee and dessert bar.
Snagged this domed pedestal on sale that morning for $10! Filled with Parisian macarons, c’est parfait!
Part of the fun that weekend was our friends brought their dog, Buddy, who looks so much like Bennet were confused the entire time and kept calling them by each others names.
Buddy loved Bennet’s toys!
Those are two top dogs for sure. So handsome! We love red heads around here;)
What are you planning for your holiday tablescape? Any special recipes you’re planning to make? Must get my lists started! Cookie baking week is commencing now!
Have a bright day!
