Hello Hello!
Sorry for the delay but things have gotten away from me and fall has gotten off with a bang! I absolutely love fall. So many wonderful things to see and do in the months ahead which also means my weekends are filling up. Fast. Just the prospect of having weekends off for the first time in years has me searching for all kinds of fun things to do on Saturdays and there are certainly many things to check out.
A few weeks ago, on the first day of fall, I headed over to the Atlanta History Center for their Fall Folklife Festival. It was a beautiful day and lots of fun to be had. Here is what I saw and did during my visit!
Pickle tastings from Phickles Pickles.
Making dye for their woolen yarns.
Buzz Buzz.
Jane whispering hello to a sleepy Chloe.
Storytelling at the farmhouse.
Jane and I took a stroll through the quarry garden and through the forest on the hunt for vittles.
Success! Pulled pork and pickles. Those really were tasty pickles too!
It’s getting hot! Time for some sorbet! Raspberry Lemon at Honeysuckle Gelato. Mmm.
Taking this show on the road we headed towards a show and a shady spot.
Jane and I had a great time at the Atlanta History Center’s Fall Folklife Festival. Definitely got me into the fall spirit!
Up next…Murder Mystery weekend at the beautiful Madison Oaks Inn in historic Madison Georgia! So much fun!
Have a bright day!
Chelsea aka Bright Girl
