I can’t believe it’s June already!! 2012 is really flying by. This weekend I caught up on my #photoadayjune challenge by Fat Mum Slim and enjoyed the great weather we had yesterday by heading to the Roswell Lavender Festival at Historic Barrington Hall. We toured gardens, went shopping, ate a yummy dinner on a patio, and had a very relaxing and enjoyable day. Check it out! {Jane came too!}

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~2nd Annual Roswell Lavender Festival @ Barrington Hall
Mom, Jane, and I made the trip out to Roswell for the Lavender Festival yesterday! We are planning on redoing our boxwood garden borders in lavender and wanted to get some expert advice on what variety to plant..and have some fun while were at it!
Donning my lavender shoes for the festival.
The ice house. Part bath house, part food storage and preparation station.
Beautiful ribbons for sale by Grosgrain Annie’s Ribbonemporium
Jane Loves Ribbon! She can’t decide what color should don her next hat.
Cluck Cluck!
The gardens are so beautiful! Boxwood, Salvia, Lavender, Roses, and much more.
These climbing roses are so beautiful! Does anyone know what variety the are? Look at the size of this bunch of blooms growing on the vine. It looks like a bouquet!
Tasting some of the lavender treats. Key Lime Lavender Parfait. It was delish!
Making paper flowers. Jane and I created a lovely pink bloom. Thanks to my friend Ginny at Barrington Hall for helping this big kid out!
Butterfly garden! More great ideas for Gap in the Hedge.
Who else went to the Lavender Festival this weekend? What fun things did you see/buy/do? Do tell!
Have a bright day!
