I took so many pictures during our tours I had to break up my posts! Willow Oak Farm was so big and had so many interesting and beautiful features I had to give it it’s own post. Enjoy!
Time for a swing!
Across the street are the guest cottages, converted 1800s buildings.
Old kitchen and slave quarters. My family has one on their property and would look awesome finished off similarly to how they have done it. The vintage stove and small kitchen addition are so fun!
Orkney Island chairs=a new obsession of mine!
Mini bar and eating area under the loft. Love the fun washed colors, indigo and lime.
Beautiful and classic
Mom: “I wonder how they got those giraffes here?” I’d say very carefully!
Moss jardin
Jane quite liked it. A nice place to read a book!
Bed of moss
Gorgeous peonies!
Volleyball anyone?
I love all of the scalloped window treatments!
I am obsessed with this room! I love the cherry pattern and all of the red. The plaid and cherry trimmed curtains are so amazing!
I love this hand painted dresser with the bee skep and buzzy bees.
Yes. That is a custom knotted rug of a map of the property.
Scalamandre “Edwin’s Covey.” Gorgeous!
Bathroom dedicated to their precious pooches!
Just needs some fresh iced tea and we’re ready to go!
On a hot day that pool looks soooo inviting!
Quick side note: On our way into town we stopped at the huge estate sale on the main road, as I’m sure many others did. It was a mad house and many items were already sold but we had fun just walking around and looking at all of the interesting things. I bought a few little things-some old cookbooks, a vintage hand stitched runner, and some pottery. I love finding treasures and if you do too be sure to follow me on Instagram {@brightgirl22} to see all of the fun things I’m finding and reusing in fun ways.
Have a bright day!
