Day 1} Self Portrait~ Generally how I’m forced to sleep with this pumpkin cat upon my head.

 

Day 2} Busy~ Our caterpillars transformed into butterflies! I became a temporary vet again creating the perfect home for these critters.

 

 

 

Day 3} Best part of my day~ If you fall asleep near me I’ll probably take your picture if you look cute. Mom and two sleepy babies.

 

 

Day 4} Fun~ Cute art project for the 4th! I’m lucky to be able to do creative stuff like this at work. Fun fun!

 

 

Day 5} On the floor~ Stella and Remy having a ball. That girl is crazy!

 

 

Day 6} Chair~ Waiting in the movie theater waiting for “Magic Mike” to start. It was just okay in case you were wondering. But I had fun with my girls:)

 

 

Day 7} Garden~ We had TONS of Casablanca lilies this year. So pretty!

 

 

Day 8} Lunch~ Reliving my Vinings days with a meatloaf sandwich at Jacks New Yorker Deli on the Marietta Square. Yummy.

 

 

Day 9} Big~ Came across this beaut at the antique mall. Woah that’s a lotta Elvis!

 

 

Day 10} Favorite color~ I have many favorite colors but my favorite color to decorate with is French blue. My whole room is French blues, greens, and creams. Very feminine. What is your favorite color?

 

 

Day 11} Letter~ So I didn’t take a picture this day but isn’t this fun! Village post office I drove past whilst in England a few years ago. Oh how I wish I was there now.

 

 

Day 12} Texture~ Rubbing from my art classes in Italy several summers ago. Again, oh how I wish I was there.

 

 

 

Anyone else doing the challenge?

Hope to post again tomorrow, antiquing and thrifting on a hot summer day is the best indoor activity. Scott antique market this weekend, who’s going!?

Day 10} Best bit of your weekend~I would have to say I had a great weekend last weekend overall. It’s been 6 months {can’t believe that! time flies!} and it still feels weird for me to have the weekend off after 6 years of not really having a free Saturday. So my mum and I climbed in the car and headed to the Roswell Lavender Festival at Barrington Hall. It was fun and the gardens were so pretty! So glad we went. We did a little shopping and had a nice dinner on a outdoor patio.




Day 11} Door~One of my favorite pictures. Walking around San Juan Bautista a few years ago I spied this beautiful door.



Day 12} From a low angle~ Remade the bed and put out a blanket and catnip toy for Miss Willow. She decided she would much rather play the princess and the pea. Willow loves Pillows!



Day 13} Art~Happy Father’s Day! Our art project this week:)



Day 14} Time~It flies!

Dinner @ Seed Kitchen & Bar

After our adventures Saturday we were quite famished and our friends recommended Seed Kitchen & Bar.  We were not disappointed! We sat on the patio and enjoyed the great weather and wine.



Love the potted plants! So colorful.

I had a major flash back moment checking out the cocktail menu! Memories of summers past in Chile and England come to mind. Pisco & Pimm’s

Jane enjoyed dinner and drinks at Seed!

Squash blossoms. They were quite tasty.

After dinner we took a trip down memory lane at TCBY. It’s really too bad there aren’t more of them in Georgia. Does anyone know of a great frozen yogurt shop with watermelon flavored yogurt or sorbet?


What is everyone doing this weekend for dad’s day? Tomorrow shopping and birthday/father’s day dinner at Ecco

Alright so I had every intention of having this be days 15-20 but the week got away from me and it’s now 15-26. Enjoy!

Day 15} Love~Actually. Some of the movies I love.


Day 16} What you’re reading~Just got this very Austensian book. A little cheesy but enjoyable because I’ve been to all the places they’re talking about. Gotta finish it up so I can get going on my book club book, “The Book Thief.”


Day 17} Snack~Trying to stock up on more healthy snacks. Almonds are super healthy and I mix mine with craisins and raisins:)


Day 18} Something you made~Funnily enough I made/helped make a lot of cute art this week. I do art with preschoolers at work, one of my favorite things ever! Here are some samples:)

Day 20} Something you can’t live without~ Check out this posting for more things I can’t live without. Maybe you’ll see some things you never realized before you need desperately
I guess for right now I’d have to say I can’t live without my 4 legged children.


Day 21} Where you stand~At work…it requires a lot of this everyday.


Day 22} Pink~I love the color pink! Maybelline 5th Avenue Fuchsia lipstick & OPI Kiss me on my tulips polish. Cosmopolitan on a Friday night. Yum!
 

Day 23} Technology~ High Tech Robots!


Day 24} Something new~Bought new Ralph Lauren sheets. Love the pale green and floral toile.


Day 25} Unusual~I’ve never seen such a thing. This is so funny! I feel kinda bad for the cubical captives of the world. But maybe this would give them a laugh.



Day 26} 12 o’clock~ Working on this posting and Stella came upstairs crying. She needed a hug and a rub.


Excited about my 3 day weekend. Hoping to do some catch up on here, Atlanta Botanical Gardens, Springhouse Restaurant, New things, etc. Coming atcha soon!
